Minot J. Savage letter to Mrs. King, 1904.

The collection consists of a typed, signed letter to Mrs. King, 8 Nov. 1904, on Church of the Messiah Study letterhead. In the letter, he responds to her question about Napoleon, referring her to a public library, but indicating his respect for Napoleon's ability, and disdain for his character.

Minot Judson Savage was an American Unitarian clergyman and writer. He led congregations throughout the United States, including California, Chicago, Boston, and New York, openly supporting Darwin's evolutionary theories and social reform.
